Latest Sightings

To add your sighting, click "New Topic". You'll need to register first, but this takes a few seconds: all you need to pick is a username (something like joebloggs, i.e. not using spaces, and all lowercase) and password, and include your email address. You don't need to register to view sightings. Once you've registered, you can click here to change things like password, email address, real name etc.

To access other sections of this forum, use the links above. In particular, please post topics for discussion in "Discussion", and insect sightings in "Insects"! (If you can't find a message that you posted under "Sightings" recently, please check one of the other sections from the list above)

Email addresses

You now have the choice of whether or not to allow your email address to be shown when you post something here: to change this setting, either click the "edit profile" link at the top of the page, or click here to go directly to the email privacy page (remember to click "submit" on that page when you're finished!). Email addresses (when shown) are in a spam-protected format.

If for some reason you can't register on the site at the moment, you can also email your news to birdnews@lancasterbirdwatching.org.uk and it will be added to the site at a later date.

Thanks go to Pete Crooks for today's header photo of Aldcliffe. If you have a suitable picture of a local birding spot, why not send it to the webmaster, at andymccafferty@gmail.com? I need to resize (and if necessary crop) pictures to make them 600x130 pixels, so ideally send it at that size (definitely not smaller).
